from Association Transformation · host Brewer Pratt Solutions & Consort Strategy

Send us Fan MailUsing social media successfully and effectively is imperative to grow an organisation. The prospect of doing so is, however, a daunting one. It is difficult to know what platforms to use, how to create the best content, how much money to budget, how much content to share etc. So, what is the best way to use social media? What techniques should be used to maximise recruitment, advocacy and revenue? Knowing how to navigate the hidden complexities of social media and how to add value to your organisation using these tools is what we are talking about today. In our first episode back, Andrew and Elisa invite Karlyn Ankrom onto the show to discuss the urgency of social media in the New Year.  Karlyn is the founder of Oh Snap! Social and the creator of the Fan Firestarter Framework, a new approach to social media marketing made specifically for businesses "tempted to fake their own death and flee to Tahiti at the mere thought of content creation." Ankrom developed her user-friendly strategy after working for a decade with a variety of brick and mortar businesses who were decidedly social allergic, as she calls it, not because they didn't want to do social media, but because they were intimidated by it. In response, her new system helps newbies get on the fast track to "unsucking their social media" in just one hour per week.To find out more about Karlyn and what she does visit her website: https://www.ohsnapsocial.com/blog/Of course, you can find her on social media too!
