The Way Thomas Could Not See

Welcome to the Preached Word. In John 14:5, Thomas speaks for every believer who has stared into the dark and wondered whether the way to God is really as sure as it seemed — and Jesus answers him not with an argument but with a person: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Today's sermon on John 14:4–7 traces that answer from Thomas's honest despair to the settled faith that Christ alone makes possible.
