This week on the #wednesdaywellbeing show I'm chatting with That Havening Guy James Houghton. Did you know that hugging is emotionally and physically healing and relieves stress and helps us connect with others. In times when hugs are scarce Havening Techniques are really helpful. Havening is a new psychosensory therapy developed by Dr Ronald A Ruden and his brother Dr Steven Ruden. The therapy uses touch, self hugs and distraction to treat trauma, and the many ways that it manifests. The method is based in biological science, and uses touch to generate a specific brain wave pattern called Delta waves. Neurons talk to each other using electricity, voltage fluctuations, frequency fluctuations, and chemical messengers. Havening helps with phobias, post traumatic injury, stress, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, panic attacks, exam nerves, road rage, flashbacks, reccuring nightmares, eating problems, goal setting, mood improvement and insomnia can all be mitigated or healed. Covid fatigue and depression can be minimised with the Havening Techniques James has been a practitioner for 6 years, and has seen some amazing transformations.www.awakenedpodcasts.com Www.ThatHaveningGuy.com Facebook.com/thathaveningguy @thathaveningguySupport the showThis podcast is sponsored by The Northern College of Clinical Hypnotherapywww.thenortherncollegeofclinicalhypnotherapy.com
