The Wednesday wellbeing show 1st of April 2020 Transformation Month

from HypnoGeeks Podcast · host Amanda Joy

On the #wednesdaywellbeing show this week we are talking yoga, mindfulness, meditation, releasing trauma and healthier happier pregnancy and birth.   Sally Roach is a Yoga mindfulness and compassion teacher. Tonight we chat about how through her own healing of an eating disorder and chronic fatigue she discovered the benefits of yoga and meditation.  Ten years ago she discovered Mindfulness and Compassion practice which was life changing and an important piece of her healing journey and tonight she is on air sharing with us. She's also a shamanic practitioner and helps people to let go of old wounds and trauma.  When there is trauma in the system, we may be managing ok and not aware that there is a problem and then an event happens… a loss, an accident, the trauma of this isolation under covid 19 ….and it can be the straw that broke the camels back and the dysregulation becomes out of control.   Our anxiety goes sky high or we shut down into freeze or we may swing between the 2. Maybe we don’t have access to our usual coping mechanisms…the gym, going out socialising and drinking, retail therapy so tonight we chat about what we can do at home.  Tonight I'll also be chatting with Vicky from kalma Mammas. Kalma mamas offers pre, post and aqua natal yoga to expectant mothers  in south Tyneside. She also teaches yoga and mindfulness classes to babies from 6 weeks to 18 years.  They've done a fantastic job of adapting all their services so they can still support you during Covid19 lockdown with remote yoga classes. She'll be providing top advice on juggling home life with new way of working and how there are lots of positives coming from this time.  A wow factor chat show to up your vibe and support your wellbeing.  https://www.yogaisforlife.co.uk/about-sally/ https://kalmababy.co.uk/km-southtyneside/ #amandajoytherapist #wednesdaywellbeing  Support the showThis podcast is sponsored by The Northern College of Clinical Hypnotherapywww.thenortherncollegeofclinicalhypnotherapy.com
