This week, Gill Whelan, CEO and Founder of Whelan Wellness, is joined by Kristen Brothers! Kristen Brothers is a member of our Whelan Wellness community - she is also a mother, a wife, a social worker and an instructor at Memorial University School of Social Work. Kristen was a teen parent, having had her daughter when she was only 16. Her daughter is now nearly 19, and living in another province. Kristen has made the transition into an empty nest. Amongst the changes that come along with having your children leave home, Kristen's daughter has recently come out as gay.
