the World of INCELs (with Naama Kates)

from The Canadian Gothic · host CanadianGothic / Curiouscast

Incels are the online community, made up predominantly of men, who define their identity in the fact that they are involuntarily celibate. the Incel subculture, as regular listeners of Nighttime know, doesn't just wallow in misogynism, self pity, and entitlement in the internet’s dark corners.. Some self identifing Incels have seen their inability to get laid as justification to commit horrific acts of mass murder... It's a twisted, dark, and very troubling community, but it's also fascinating and I think it's worth exploring. To help guide us along the way, I invited a colleague from the world of podcasting to join me. In this episode we are going to explore the strange and dark world of the self described INCELS (involuntary celibate). Our guest is journalist/podcast creator Naama Kates (host of the Incel Project).
