Send us Fan MailLet's face it - this was not a good weekend for Anthony Volpe.He went 1-for-11 against the Mets (yes, the one was a home run), he hit Aaron Judge in the face with a baseball (how is that even possible?), and then his dad got into a shouting match with a fan at Citi Field in a moment that almost immediately went viral.We've talked about Volpe before - yes, he's been struggling for most of the year at the plate, and his defense has taken a hit as well.  But the Yankees have only themselves to blame.Volpe had a terrific spring training in 2023, but there was absolutely ZERO reason to move him up to the Major League level when the season started.  Not with less than 100 at bats at AAA the season before.So while fans may be focusing some of their online frustrations at their shortstop, Jim Monaghan and Chris Swendeman take the position that (finally?)
