from A Recovery Now · host Kim Justus

Matt Williams has suffered Chronic Pain, Migraine Headaches, Anxiety, PTSD for 25 years after suffering a brain injury while serving in the US Navy, and several other traumatic events. He has been a 100% disabled veteran since 2008 with what he calls "Invisible Disabilities". As of March 1, 2017 Matt can say thanks to a Pain Management Doctor with a unique approach, he has been almost completely pain free. This, after what he considers 24 years of torture by being forced to use the VA for medical needs. Matt started painting in 2017 and has found it to be very medicating... One collection focuses on the feelings of my Chronic Pain, Depression, Anxiety and PTSD which expresses, "That is how I feel, someone else does understand my pain."  See: chronicpainart.com This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms.
