There Can't Be Too Many Cooks Making Community Broth
from Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl · host Jeannine Luby
Gratitude is a healthy and important attitude to have throughout the year but naturally we focus on it more during this season...at Thanksgiving. The saying may be that: Too many cooks spoil the broth, but when it comes to making lifesaving changes within a community, the more people involved the better. In this week's episode, I share a few things that I am grateful for and my guest Rebecca Seman talks about her lifelong interest in wanting to ensure that people are properly nourished. After her own experience being food insecure, she is grateful to be in the position now to do rewarding work in Luzerne County and has created a Little Free Pantry in her neighborhood that is bringing the community together. To learn more about Clancy Harrison's Food Dignity visit: https://fooddignitymovement.org/. And learn about New Roots Recovery Center at: https://www.newrootspa.org/ . If you have any questions about Rebecca's journey or anything we discussed, just message me at Funny Wine Girl Jeannine on Facebook or Instagram or connect with me, Jeannine Luby, on LinkedIn. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart and the bottom of my wine glass.
