There Has Always Been a War Raging in America Over White Supremacy

Upgrade at 30% ofAmerica in 2025 is not that much different than America in 1965 or 1865. The same battles are raging. The same malicious forces are screaming that they deserve wealth and riches and power and that nobody else deserves to do anything but work.That’s the United States today.That’s the United States of yesterday.We have to stop that from becoming the United States of tomorrow.The American people don’t want to talk about the crimes of this nation. They want to talk about football, or the moon landing, or the flight at Kitty Hawk.They don’t want to talk about lynchings, or terrorist threats against Historically Black Universities, or the current regime’s disgraceful ethnic cleansing of immigrants.They want to sit back and say that this nation is the greatest that ever existed while ignoring all the facts. If you persist in noting shortcomings, they say, “Love it or leave it,” never recognizing that they’re quoting the Klan.The Klan gets quoted a lot these days, almost as often as people deny that it still exists.This is the true America. It’s the furthest thing from united and it always has been. There are divisions between old and young, rich and poor, educated and ignorant, women and men.The list goes on and on and on. Everywhere it’s possible to have division, it exists. That’s by design, that’s what white supremacy does.And we basically never even mention it.The United States of America is a nation at war with itself. It’s constantly divided between the virtue of pursuing decency and the vice of wallowing in greed.More often than not, greed has won.It’s a taxing thing to walk through the pages of our media. There are lies stacked upon lies stacked upon lies. Anyone who tells the truth is silenced and criticized. Good people respond to this by shaking their heads, plugging their ears, and muttering, “I don’t even want to hear.”We walk through a minefield to get to work and we walk through it again to get back home. We’re all living in fear. At any moment any of us or our loved ones could be taken from us forever.What a great country this is…How do we overcome the divide? The deceits are so vast and wide that even our potential allies are skeptical about coming to our side. Once you start to see the truth of things, even your educated friends and neighbors will say, “No… it can’t possibly be that way. It can’t possibly be that bad.”But friends, it is, and it always has been.As of today, the government is shut down because Republicans insist on using taxpayer funds to protect billionaire pedophiles.That’s it.Yet, the only lies the media prints are the ones that claim the Democrats are being petulant.They stack lies on top of lies on top of lies and the first people who are silenced are the ones who step forth to defend the truth. I see it every day.But I also feel as if the bubble is about to burst.The forces of evil are stretched too thin. For the first time in decades, the shroud of oppression is like a thin membrane. All we have to do is raise our fingers to the sky and…POP!So, the forces of oppression are screaming at us to keep our arms down, our heads bowed, even as beads of sweat are forming on their brow.It feels like it’s all about to come tumbling down. The lies have gotten so big they can’t keep up with them now. That’s the problem with lies, they must be constantly maintained. There must be a daily refrain. It’s advertising, it’s propaganda, it’s enough to numb your brain.They deny that the country is racist, then they claim that the Democrats are racist, then they say we’re both weak and violent. Their deceit is stretched like a balloon that has become transparent. All we have to do is look through it.This battle has been waging since the beginning. How can you call a nation “free” if it was founded in slavery? It has never been great. This land has seen terrible atrocities. It’s seeing more every day. The worst people in history cannot bully these facts away.They don’t have the power to make us forget.All we have to do to win, is stand against them united.Just as was said in the beginning, but real this time.Your children are being indoctrinated with the toxic mind virus of white supremacy.
