How many times do you look at the challenges you are dealing with, whether physical or emotional, as problems? Do these challenges make you feel like apologizing or hiding in shame? How many times do you look at the challenges you are dealing with, whether physical or emotional, as problems?   Do these challenges make you feel like apologizing or hiding in shame? Have you ever felt like it was wrong to have the challenges you have?

It can be so easy to look around at others and think there is something wrong with you when they seem to be perfect or have the perfect life.  But I want you to know this:  There is NOTHING wrong with you!   And the challenge you are dealing with does not define who you are.

Today I share an experience I had recently that reminded me of this very thing.  It is my goal to help you see the challenge you are dealig with in a different perspective.  I firmly believe that instead of looking at our challenges as problems, we can look at them as opportunities.

Here are the questions that I will be asking on this episode to help you gain that different perspective over your challenges.  I promise that when you take the time to answer these questions, you will see your challenges in a new light.

  • What if our personal challenges were given to us on purpose?
  •  What if God has given us these challenges in order for us to have experiences that will actually benefit us in the long run?
  •  What if He knew we were very capable of handling, managing, and maybe even overcoming these things with His help and guidance?
  • How is this challenge refining me?
  •  What can I learn or what am I learning from this?
  •  How can this be a strength for me, not a weakness?
  •   Is it possible this is preparing me for something?
  • And what could that be?
  •  How can I use the challenges I have to lift and help others?
  • What if, instead of looking at these experiences and challenges as problems, I view them as opportunities?  What would that look like?  What would that feel like?

Talking these out with someone can be extremely helpful, so make sure you schedule a call with me soon.
