They FAKED Mental Illness for SSI!

Kingdom Influence Media recently shared an explosive podcast discussing an issue that deserves serious attention: Social Security disability fraud and cases in which people have falsely claimed mental or psychiatric impairments to obtain benefits. This is an especially troubling form of fraud because legitimate mental illnesses—including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and severe anxiety disorders—can absolutely be disabling. People who genuinely suffer from these conditions should not be stigmatized because other individuals have abused the system.There is documented evidence that fraudulent psychiatric disability claims have occurred. According to the Social Security Administration, Social Security fraud occurs when someone intentionally provides false information in order to receive benefits or payments. The Social Security Administration's Office of Inspector General specifically investigates questionable disability claims through its Cooperative Disability Investigations program.One of the most striking examples involved a massive New York disability fraud investigation. Federal investigators found that numerous applicants were coached to present psychiatric conditions as part of their Social Security disability claims. The investigation ultimately resulted in 134 arrests and 116 criminal convictions, and more than 300 additional people's benefits were terminated.
