from The Last Action Heroes Hosted by The Last Action Heroes
Action Hero: Nada Welcome to The Last Action Heroes, an ass kicking, bubble gum chewing, tight jean wearing movie podcast on a mission to rate the very best and worst of action cinema protagonists across the ages. In this episode we throw on some cool as fuck sunnies and wake up to fight the oppression of 80s extreme capitalism in John Carpenters 1988 cult classic THEY LIVE. Down on his luck drifter NADA discovers the rat race is not all it’s cracked up to be when he comes into possession of a pair of sunglasses that allow him to see the world for what is: a world where humanity has been enslaved in a capitalist dystopia run by an alien race who live a life of luxury at our expense. Figured it’d be something like this! With his hulking stature, impressive fighting style and even more impressive one liners, NADA is not the kind of guy to take this shit lying down and he soon embarks on a rampage to take down the alien threat. But where will his glorious mullet land on TLAH leaderboard? Join us to find out…and remember…OBEY, CONSUME & CONFORM ——————— Twitter: @TL_ActionHeroes Instagram: @thelastactionheroespodcast
