They Want to Kill the Filibuster to Block You from Voting

Republicans are talking about killing the filibuster to pass the SAVE Act, a voting bill that would require a passport or birth certificate to register to vote. Sounds fine - until you realize 69 million women changed their last name when they got married and their birth certificates no longer match. The bill doesn’t guarantee marriage certificates are accepted. It bans mail-in voting. And it hands voter rolls to DHS. Their polling numbers are in freefall, and they’re trying to rig the midterms before they lose the majority. Once the filibuster is dead, it stays dead.
