Things I Learned Living Abroad & Why I Desire To Move Back

from The Inspirational Corner · host Stylicia Bowden

The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. ~Eleanor Roosevelt~ I remember when I had my first experience of living abroad, it changed my life. My eyes were open to the idea of understanding that life is more significant than what we can imagine. However, we often get stuck living a monotonous life because we are fearful of the unknown & comfortable with the familiar. Over the years, I have learned that when I let go of the ordinary and dive into the unknown, my life expands, and I experience serendipitous moments. Living abroad has given me a joy I never thought I would imagine, and since my life is constantly changing, my desire to move back abroad has become louder and louder. In this episode, I discuss how I got to live abroad, the three concepts that I learned living abroad, and why I desire to break up with America and move back internationally.
