He is the co-creator ofHigh-Performance Teaming and the creator of ZONEFIVE—a behavioral marker systemthat objectively measures team effectiveness.  “Ponch,” his callsign from navalaviation, served on active duty for 16 years before transferring to the NavyReserve and now wears the rank of Captain (O-6) as a part-time member of theDefense Innovation Unit (DIU).  As an entrepreneur, “Ponch” leveragesthe leadership, teamwork, and complexity thinking lessons he learned throughouthis diverse military career to help individuals and organizations create theagility, resilience, and safety they need to survive and thrive in thisturbulent world.  As an external consultant, he iscurrently supporting Chevron in teaming, agile, strategy, safety, lean, andleadership initiatives.
