Thinking Outside the Box, with Dr. Arash Hakhamian

In this episode of the Future of Dentistry podcast, Anne Duffy is joined by Arash Hakhamian, DDS, who wrote “My Story,” the cover article for the Spring 2022 edition of Dental Entrepreneur Magazine. He is the CEO of Dentulu, whose mission statement is “to provide ongoing solutions to consumers, doctors, and industry service providers around the world through affordable and innovative technology while increasing access to care.” Dr. Arash takes Anne through his history in dentistry, from passing out toothbrushes and toothpaste to the local homeless population with his family to creating his own mobile dental business, owning a practice, and starting Dentulu. He shares some of his experiences providing dental services for the Special Olympics and volunteering internationally. Dr. Arash also explains the hilarious story of how he was able to attend a software developer conference in San Francisco despite not being a developer, and how he was able to find a programmer to partner with to create Dentulu.
