Third Sunday of Easter Year A (An Encounter that Restores).

This is the Purifying Word Sunday Reflection on the readings of the Mass. Despair makes the heart cold. Hope warms up the heart. However, when Hope is lost and the heart becomes cold, our vision suffers, and in some cases becomes darkened. In that moment the burning warmth of God’s word is required for a restoration. The word prepares and warms up our hearts and softens it for an encounter with the one whose perceived absence could often make our hearts cold. The breaking of the word, prepares our hearts to participate fruitfully in the breaking of the bread. Find our more as you listen. Happy Sunday
