Third Sunday of Easter Year C

Faith in the resurrection of Jesus immediately invites us to witness to the same with conviction and authority. However, this witness must flow from a deep conviction and a personal experience of the Risen Lord. It is never simply a result of an assent to some moral propositions nor is it a result of an ethical choice. It flows from a living experience. But it is the Holy Spirit that empowers us and helps us to witness with a a deep conviction and authority, else we cower in the face of the hostility of this world against the message of the Gospel.
