This Bharath, (India) is the land of Wisdom! | இந்த பாரதம் ஒரு ஞான பூமி!

from Santhosam Podcast: Guiding Light of Spiritual Wisdom · host Santhosam

Every action has a consequence, yet the Bhagavad Gita teaches us to perform our duty without attachment to results. True duty is carried out with a clear intellect, free from expectation, and such action naturally yields fruits. Penance, when done selflessly, purifies the minds of people and plants noble thoughts in their hearts. Our ancestors showed us how to live in harmony and happiness, and India was once revered as a Jnana Bhoomi—a land of wisdom—where people lived in bliss, their bodies merely aging but their spirit vibrant. The sages in Gurukulams taught the principles of body, world, and God, guiding humans to live as divine beings. When goodness prevailed, the world itself was auspicious. But as the number of virtuous people declined, corrupt rulers arose, and suffering followed. Wisdom means discarding harmful traits, nurturing good ones, and attaining clarity through reflection (vicharam). This wisdom manifests as divine vibrations felt at the Ajna Chakra and deeper centers.Sanatana Dharma teaches that the macrocosm exists within the microcosm—the same universal power operates within the human body. To realize this truth (Tat Tvam Asi) is to know that one’s essence is the Atma, beyond body, mind, and intellect. The Gayatri mantra affirms that the Atma transcends the three worlds, and those who realize it speak words of truth that become the Vedas. India was once home to many such realized souls—Maharishis and Mahaans.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe!
