This Is Who He Is

📖 Faithful Friday — This Is Who He IsAll week we've been asking one question:What does it mean to really know God's heart?Today, in Exodus 34:5–8, God answers that question in His own words.Moses had prayed:“Show me Your glory.”God promised: “I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you.”And today... He does.God describes Himself as compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness and truth, forgiving—yet also perfectly holy and just.This isn't Moses telling us what he thinks God is like.God tells us who God is.💭 Today's TruthIf you want to know God's heart, listen to how God describes Himself.And after God reveals His character, notice Moses' response.He bows.He worships.Because knowing God isn't simply about collecting more information about Him.Knowing God should always lead us to worship God.To know God's heart is to know His character so well that you begin to trust Him before you understand Him.🙏 Today's PrayerLord, today I simply want to worship You for who You are. Thank You for Your compassion and grace. Thank You for Your patience, Your faithful love, and Your forgiveness. I praise You because You are holy, just, faithful, and true. Help me know Your character so deeply that I trust You even when I don't understand what You are doing. More than Your gifts, I want You.
