This Morning: Have the Best Day Ever

from This Morning with Tiff Potter · host Tiff Potter

This morning started with a text I received that said: “I hope you have the best day ever.”And it actually made me stop and think. Not just because it was kind — but because it reminded me that even in a season of a lot of change, I can still decide to have a good day. It starts with me.So we unpacked that a little this morning — the power of small things people say to us, and how sometimes the right sentence at the right moment can shift your mindset. Also, Cincinnati had a pretty big visitor yesterday. The President was in town, which meant a lot of traffic, a lot of security, and a lot of people wondering why it suddenly took 45 minutes to get anywhere. And since overthinking loves to sneak in during times of change, I also shared 6 tips to help stop the spiral — which might just help you… have the best day ever. Thanks for being here.If you want company, press play. 🎧Quick note: my apologies for the audio quality on today’s episode. I’m working through some growing pains with new equipment and a new camera setup as things continue to evolve around here. I appreciate you rolling with me while I get everything dialed in.https://www.self.com/story/how-to-stop-overthinking-tips
