The Trump administration convened the Endangered Species Committee for the first time in 30 years to let Big Oil drill through the habitat of one of the rarest whales on earth - 51 left alive, possibly 16 breeding adults. Congress used the Congressional Review Act to permanently erase public land protections across hundreds of millions of acres with no filibuster, no environmental review, and no way to restore them. The Pentagon asked for $200 billion more while the White House said hurting consumers is “the last of our concerns.” And Trump posted “good, I’m glad he’s dead” about Robert Mueller - a Bronze Star Vietnam veteran who led the FBI through 9/11.
