Thoracic E07: Peripheral Lung SBRT

Welcome back to Rad Onc Smart Review: Thoracic Oncology Edition. Episode 7 is a practical workshop in peripheral lung stereotactic body radiation therapy. We move from candidacy and respiratory-motion data to target construction, fractionation, chest-wall risk, intermediate-dose falloff, image guidance, and the question that matters at every fraction: can the team reproduce the geometry that made the plan acceptable? The episode emphasizes why a small target and short course do not make this simple treatment. A geometric miss, hidden serial organ, unreliable motion envelope, or weak setup strategy carries a large biological consequence when each fraction delivers an ablative dose.
