Robert Hernandez is a Medical Speech Language Pathologist, also working as a Hospital Medical Program Developer. Robert has been in practice for last 35 years. His current focus is Medical Program Development for ‘Critical’ access hospitals through the United States and foreign countries.  Robert has great concern for healthcare and access to the array of services in rural and remote communities, which don’t have the care offerings found in more urban areas. He has dedicated his work toward development of necessary services in communities that otherwise would not have them. Clinically, Robert has focused on developing methods to help brain injury patients deal more effectively with the consequences of experiencing TBI/ABI over the last 25 years. He teaches how to become “thought driven” in dealing with the challenges of daily life. This method promotes self-awareness, and better clarity of thought. Robert exposes patients to a formalized but flexible way of approaching problems that assist them to systematically ‘Think’ through the process of problem solving. This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me." We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers - which takes a huge Warrior spirit!
