Three bathers remain missing along the KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape coastlines.

from Update@Noon · host SAfm

Authorities are pleading beachgoers and those relaxing at other bodies of water to be responsible and vigilant. Three people are still missing in at least drowning incidents along the KZN and EC coastline. The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) has urged beachgoers to only swim at beaches with lifeguards and to heed their warnings. NSRI says currents and rip tides are stronger than usual this season. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Samantha Meyrick from IPSS Medical Rescue.
