Thriving After Divorce: How to Build Back Better After Divorce; with guest, Ilyssa Panitz

from The Moving On Method® Podcast · host Michelle Dempsey-Multack

Divorce can give you a chance to regain your power and find yourself again. This week Michelle Dempsey-Multack is joined by divorce journalist Ilyssa Panitz to help women let the past be the past and move forward in their new beautiful life. Michelle and Ilyssa open up about: Doing the work to see what you are made of Finding affirmations through music Sometimes change can be good Becoming the "victor" vs the "victim" in divorce AND SO MUCH MORE Ilyssa Panitz is the “only” Divorce Journalist in the media industry solely and “exclusively” committed to covering every angle of this topic so others can navigate this major life transition. Ilyssa writes a divorce column for “Authority Magazine” on Medium and has also been a contributing reporter/writer for a number of different outlets on the topic of “divorce.”  Ilyssa also serves as the Content/Editorial Producer for The National Association of Divorce Professionals and was the former Co-Host of “All Things Divorce” on Clubhouse. On July 31, 2021, Ilyssa was able to reach an even wider audience through her role as Creator, Writer, Producer and Host of a nationally syndicated & live streaming radio show called, “The Divorce Hour with Ilyssa Panitz” that airs every Saturday and Sunday on CRN Digital Talk Radio and then on Spotify, Google Podcasts, iTunes, Google Home, Alexa, Amazon Music and Amazon Audible. Ilyssa’s prior experience as a Reporter/Producer was for leading media outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, 1010 WINS Radio (NY), WCBS-AM, New York-1 News, Westwood One, Star Magazine, Closer Magazine, and Meredith Publishing. Among the major news events that she has covered are The Tony Awards, The MTV Movie Awards, the Television Network Upfronts, the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, The September 11th Terrorist Attacks, The NBA Finals, and the 1994/1995 Major League Baseball Strike. While Ilyssa was front and center on a wide array of media assignments, she is perhaps best known for launching major entertainment publications, producing hundreds of “Celebrity at Home” photo shoots, and sitting down with some of the biggest names in Hollywood for exclusive, one-on-one interviews.       The evolution from Hollywood to divorce stems from Ilyssa's own personal experience with the divorce process and noticing no one else in the media industry was covering this subject on a daily basis. Being the innovator that she is, Ilyssa decided to fill this void by starting and developing the “Divorce Beat” to help people survive and thrive from this life-alerting shift. While navigating many of the hurdles that come with a divorce, Ilyssa has developed both an emotional and practical insight to this transition, which she is passionate about sharing with others. Ilyssa fully understands the ups and downs of the journey, and is making it her mission to help, educate, guide, empower, comfort, and build confidence to others going through this painful experience. Ilyssa Panitz is “THE” Divorce Journalist.   Learn from Michelle how to navigate divorce & co-parenting: https://bit.ly/MDMPodStore Get one-on-one coaching from Michelle: http://stan.store/themichelledempsey/p/book-a-11-zoom-with-me-wt46q75a Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@TheMichelleDempsey Website - https://michelledempsey.com/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/michelle645 TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@themichelledempsey1 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mldempsey/ Learn more about your ad choices.
