If someone says there's a candy bar in the pantry and we can't have it, what does that make us want to do? It makes us want to find the candy bar and eat it! That’s exactly what the law does with sin. It points it out, even stirs something in us, but it doesn’t save us from it. Knowing the rule doesn’t remove the desire.
