TIFF Interview: Jasmin Mozaffari

Motherland Brandishing all the energy and texture that made her debut feature Firecrackers so special, Jasmin Mozaffari’s new film tells the story of a man whose personal crises are compounded by the tensions that surround him as an Iranian in America circa 1979. Jasmin Mozaffari is a Canadian film director and screenwriter. She won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Director at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards in 2019 for her debut feature film Firecrackers.
