In episode 100, host Will Kollmeyer celebrates the podcast reaching triple digits with a quartet of guests. Dr. Carlena Benjamin and Morgan Ricks kick off this milestone episode talking about the Northeast Honors Institute and the upcoming open registration for the Fall 2020 semester for the organization. The duo discusses the rigors of the program and how each student must complete a research project along with service hours to stay active in the organization and offer solutions for those in the college's Division of Health Sciences and also those in the Division of Business and Engineering Technology. In the middle portion of the program, Northeast baseball coach Richy Harrelson bats cleanup and not only talks about his 2020 teams but also the new NEMCC Baseball/Softball Complex at 600 N. Third Street in Booneville and also about the ribbon cutting and dedication for the complex on Saturday, February 1. Harrelson tosses information about the dedication and also the First Pitch Mingle later in the afternoon that coaches moved up to help not conflict with Booneville High School's First Pitch Banquet as well. In the third interview of the program, Kollmeyer welcomes Student Success Center director Britney Whitley to the podcast to talk about all the advantages of the Student Success Center and also the changes that the SSC has brought to the Northeast student population. Whitley talks about the availability of the Tutoring Lab and the Co-Lab until 9 p.m. each night for students who wish to find a quiet place to study with friends. In addition to helping change the student culture at Northeast, the Student Success Center has proven to keep students inc lass and produce more hours finished and a higher grade point average than those that do not use the facility. Between the segments, Kollmeyer gives a rundown of events that are happening in the next 10 days and also mentions a few events to be on the lookout for later in the month.
