Timing of enlightenment

We can become enlightened in any instant we choose.  Most of us choose to go slowly through the enlightenment process, the process of accepting and relating to the fact that we are ONE with GOD which is all that exists.  We go slowly so we can appreciate through comparison our devine power and existence.   When we're in the enlightened state, there is no thought, no comparison, nothing but who we are.  We experience boundless love, joy and peace; and we have nothing to compare it to as that's all there is.  It's that capacity to appreciate through comparison that we've chosen our will to create duality.     A practical way to employ this wisdom from the state of consciousness we are at now is to look at everything in our life as something we've created in order to experience our divine nature at work.  For example, we experience joy in friendship, love in marriage, creativity, compassion, etc.  We use those same qualities to solve the problems and challanges we've created in our life for the express purpose of employing and appreciating our devine attributes.
