TIYA SINGH, Future Lawyer, Dyslexia, Rutgers, ‘20

TIYA SINGH is a graduate magna cum laude from Rutgers New Brunswick. She majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Political Science. Ms. Singh is an award winning scholar who was awarded recognition in her debating skills at Model United Nations Conferences and in academic achievements by her University. She participated and worked in the program ArtWorks for a year. Ms. Singh trained as a legal assistant and her responsibilities included researching and gathering data to draft memorandums updating senior attorneys on eligibility of the client to apply for trademark or patent, communicating with and updating clientele, and supervising ArtWorks interns. Additionally, Ms.Singh has worked in the legal field for six years working on cases in all aspects of the law including patent law and class action suits.
