தமிழ் கற்றுத்தரும் சிங்கள ஆசிரியர்

இலங்கையின் மூத்த ஊடகவியலாளர், ஒலிபரப்பாளர் மற்றும் ஊடகத் துறை நிபுணர் எனும் பின்னணி கொண்ட சீலரத்ன சேனரத் அவர்கள் வானொலி, தொலைக்காட்சி, அச்சு ஊடகம் மற்றும் பொதுத் தொடர்புத் துறைகளில் நாற்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக பணியாற்றி வருகின்றார். சிங்கள மொழிப் பின்னணி கொண்டவரான அவர் பாரம்பரிய தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களை ஆழமாக கற்றவர். பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் தமிழ் இலக்கியம் கற்றுத்தருக்கிறார். இலங்கை ஒலிபரப்புக் கூட்டுத்தாபனம், லேக் ஹவுஸ் மற்றும் சைனா ரேடியோ இன்டர்நேஷனல் உள்ளிட்ட பல முக்கிய ஊடக நிறுவனங்களில் அவர் மூத்த பொறுப்புகளில் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். தமிழ் மொழியுடனான தனது பயணம், நீண்டகால ஊடகப் பணிகள், மற்றும் சமூக நல்லிணக்கத்தை மேம்படுத்துவதில் ஊடகத்தின் பங்கு குறித்து சீலரத்ன சேனரத் அவர்கள் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார். அவரோடு உரையாடுகிறார் றைசெல்.Veteran Sri Lankan journalist, broadcaster and media professional Seelaratna Senarath has spent more than four decades working across radio, television, print and public communication. A Sinhala speaker by background, Mr Senarath developed a deep connection with the Tamil language, becoming fluent in Tamil and later studying classical Tamil literature. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior roles in several major media institutions, including the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, Lake House and China Radio International.
