TNG S2 EP 5: "Loud As A Whisper"

"They have been killing each other for a long time. Now they want to talk peace. So, something about the situation has recently changed. What's the new piece to the puzzle?" Hey Folks. This one is wild. We are covering a classic Troi-centered episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "Loud as a Whisper". The Enterprise transports a very unique negotiator to help warring factions on a planet out there in the outer space somewhere. This guy is a negotiating genius and he has a disability that gives the writers the ability to discuss themes of disability and communication and patience. Also, these themes hit close to the visor for Geordi who has some very tough decisions to make! The storytelling is clumsy at times, but ultimately, it seems like they land fairly close to the right side of history. Don't yell at us. Like, subscribe, do all the stuff!
