To Whom Shall We Go? Jesus’ Words Give Eternal Life

In John 6:66–69, many turn away from Jesus when his teaching becomes difficult,but Peter responds with a confession that stands at the heart of the Christian faith: “Lord, to whomshall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” The words of Jesus are unlike any other wordswe hear because they carry divine authority, perfect wisdom, deep compassion, and saving graceand truth.
