In 1989, a couple of die-hard Catholics claimed that they'd been having visions of the Virgin Mary -  and God wanted them to get the world to start adhering to the 10 Commandments. So, they decided to start a cult. As you do. But in the process, they broke every single one of the Commandments time and time again.... and in 2000, were responsible for an act so horrendous, that it would trump the death toll of the mass murder/suicide at Jonestown 22 years earlier.
