Today’s homily: Feria of Sunday XIV Post Pentecost (2026)

On the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost, the Church places before us the fundamental conflict of the Christian life: flesh against Spirit, God against Mammon, anxiety against trust in Providence. Our Lord does not forbid prudence or responsible care, but warns against allowing created things to become masters of the heart.
