Today’s homily: Holy Innocents (2025)

The Feast of the Holy Innocents reveals that the Incarnation immediately provokes violence: the Child draws blood. Though Herod passed from history, his logic endures wherever children are sacrificed to power, ideology, or convenience. Today this includes abortion up to birth, the sexualisation of children, and medical experimentation such as puberty blockers.
