Today’s homily: St Alexius of Rome (2026)

Saint Alexius renounced wealth, status, family recognition, and even his own name in order to belong entirely to God. Living first as a beggar in Edessa and then, according to tradition, beneath the staircase of his father’s house in Rome, he became an image of the hidden Christ.
