Today’s homily: Sunday XVI Post Pentecost (2026)

The Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost reveals the Christian life as the work of grace from beginning to end. The soul begins by crying Miserere mihi; grace goes before and follows every good work; St Paul prays that Christ may dwell in the inward man; and the Gospel shows Our Lord healing both bodily dropsy and the deeper swelling of pride.
