Welcome to today's inspiration. Thank you for joining us and allowing us to come in your living room. I am excited to have once again Pastor Leanne Badgett with signs and wonders in Knoxville, Tennessee at 2501 East Magnolia and we're going to continue the conversation of real and raw about ministry, about business and how the Holy Spirit, when you have that Holy Spirit, how he leads and guides and directs you. This is real talk.
It's just real talking for you to get to know us and also we wanted to highlight their ministry so that you know what's available out there. Signs and wonders does a lot of ministry for the homeless. They do a lot of ministry to individuals. They have counseling that goes on at their ministry and we're very blessed, Apostle Chris and myself, that we get to work with them, work along the side of them or as one prophet said in conjunction with them, not emerged but in conjunction to where we all helping one another with our strengths and with our weaknesses of what we flow in.
You know, the five-fold ministry was designed because everybody doesn't flow in the same streamline. My streamline is very prophetic. My streamline is very encouraging to equip, to help people learn to navigate. Everybody has their streamline and if you stay in it, then they'll all come together and work together.
So bringing that right in, I want to ask you as what we were talking about in the other episodes, what are your strengths and what are your weaknesses? Let's talk about your strengths. What do you feel your streamline? Well, you know, when I read that question earlier, it really hit me that my strength and my weakness are the same thing, oddly enough, and you're going to laugh because she knows me.
I know what she's going to think. I don't know. It's not prophetic. It's pathetic.
This one threw me off when I was like, really, Lord? But I'm a fixer. This is true. Okay?
Which is a strength thing if I don't take the fixing on my own and I take it to the cross. If you come to me with an issue, I immediately want to fix. That's how I'm made up. But now I got to take you, pray for you, and push you towards the cross because I can't fix you, but he can't.
That's right. So my weakness is also that I'm a fixer because sometimes I don't push you towards the cross. Sometimes I just want to take you and I want to bandage you and I want to put band aids in, wrap you in duct tape and all this stuff and be like, okay, we're better here. And that's the wrong way to do it.
It's absolutely the wrong way. So it's good to be able to fix people because we are a throwaway society. There's just no two friends about it. They used to make cars that lasted forever.
Now they make cars that you drive for a couple of years and you throw it in the garbage because it costs too much to fix it or whatever. I mean, we just throw things away now. We throw humans away. We throw animals away.
We waste more food and plastic bottles for drinking water. I mean, I'm just giving examples and I know you're like, what does that have to do with anything? We're a throwaway society. So if we can fix things or we can get things to the person who can fix them, then we'll be better off because everybody out there is in need of being fixed from something.
Some type of hurt, some type of trauma, some type of issue, some type of unbelief. I can list pages and thousands upon thousands of things which I'm not going to go into. But now when you come to me, I don't try to fix you. I try to help you get to the fixer.
Amen. Yes. So in your, you're saying that in your weakness, the weakness is being a fixer and your strength is being a fixer. So when you met the Holy Spirit, that is probably one area I would guess that he was really dealing with you in, in how to turn it over.
Exactly. Because we were talking in the last episode that intimacy with the Holy Spirit is vitally important and that means into me you see. I want you to hear that again. Into me you see.
So it's literally taking everything out and putting it on the table for the Lord to examine. And so that the Holy Spirit can say, okay, let's tweak this. Let's tweak that. You fell in love with the Holy Spirit and you became intimate with him.
Not just even just knowing the Holy Spirit, but when you became intimate with the Holy Spirit, what was the things that being knowing where you came from, what you were delivered of being, you know, going out, being that wayward child, being raised right, being wayward, then marrying a drug dealer, one of the largest drug dealers in non-sultenicity, to him being murdered, having two children, to then you came to know the Lord and became saved. But then you met the Holy Spirit. What was it that the Holy Spirit, because you do have this fixer? And I'm assuming you even want to fix your husband, even not even realizing because in the natural you were still a fixer.
I can solve that. I'm going to solve that. So in your opinion, what was the first thing that the Holy Spirit started dealing with you that is very just in the forefront of your mind of what he had to deal with? As far as fixing?
Or fixing. Where did he start with you first? Well first and foremost, he had to fix me because I was a broken mess and broken people break people. But now in and of that, I knew that I was a broken person.
I knew that I had some things going on in my childhood and even in my early teenage years in adulthood had broken me. But in him coming in and repairing the damage that had been done to me, it made it easier for me to be able to accept people in their brokenness. Because we want to, relationally, you know, relationship wise, you hear women talk about how bad these men are. And you hear men talk about how bad these women are.
And you hear people talk about baby mamas and baby daddies and all these type things. But do you talk for one minute and take into consideration how much damage you brought to said relationship? We want to put it all on him or he want to put it all on her when it really took the two of you coming together into your broken pieces and instead of you being like, wait a minute, wonder what they went through in their childhood, in their adulthood, in their teenage years or this, that, and the other thing that got them to this broken point. And then they brought into the relationship.
And then they brought into the relationship because it wasn't fixed. And truly nobody can fix it but the Holy Spirit. And even then it's a process. I'm still dealing with things with me.
And this has been eight, nine years ago that I met the Holy Spirit. But he still deals with me and things and things come up. I'm like, you know what, Lord, I really need you to help me work on that because I know that that's not the right thing for me to be thinking or doing as far as projecting that on to somebody else. So if somebody out there was to ask you, what is the thing that you really have to fight your flesh, that you really have to go to the Holy Spirit, the thing that when you are a part of the world that tries to bleed in to now you have the Holy Spirit, you have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, what is the thing that you fight the most?
I don't know that you have to say, we have this saying that we heard a few months, a couple months ago, it don't sit on the Holy Spirit. And we say that because we're getting ready to act in the flesh when we need to be thinking Spirit. And like for me, it's like I want to cut off your ear and then repent. And I see somebody do something that you either you've told them, you've advised them and they refuse to take the advice.
My husband and I were counselors and we do a lot of deliverance. We have a seven step program. And in that seven step program, we give assignments and we give homework and we do this and that. And they come back and we'll say, well, did you do this?
Well, no, I want to cut off your ears and I have to say sit on me, Holy Spirit. I have to walk in love. So as you can see, people, family of God, children of God, even those of us, I've been saved since 1997. I've been baptized in the Holy Ghost since 1997.
I got saved one week, got baptized in the Holy Ghost the next week. I had no biblical background. And so all I had was a Holy Spirit. And I praise God that I did not have a biblical background.
But still, after all these years later, my flesh rises up and I want to cut off your ear. And my husband will say, Tammy, stop acting like Peter, stop it. You need it, Holy Spirit, you need to sit on her. What's that thing that when you see the world, especially in the last year that rises up in you?
It's similar to yours as far as like when you're in church and you're going to church and you've got people that are in church with you and a lot of them claim to it. They're basically born on the front view of the church and been there every day of their life. And then you just see them in the Liberty and willful sin and you know that they know better and you've communicated them with in private. You're not on sin and in life.
You're not on Facebook live. You're not broadcasting their garbage. But you still see them doing the very things that they know better than to do. And yeah, you want to, she wants to cut off your ear.
I just want to snatch up by your throat and be like, what is wrong with you? You know, I know you know better. Why do you keep doing this? And then because in my mind, I'm like, what if they leave your not?
Come on, Tom. In the underpint and sin because I truly, this grieves my spirit. I don't want anybody to die and go to hell. I mean, I'm about to cry.
I'm just thinking about that you would pick that, that your desire would be to go to hell and burn eternally after living in hell. Because if you look around, y'all, this isn't, we're not living in a great, wonderful place. That's right. There's rape.
There's murder. There's abortion. There's torture. There's child sex trafficking.
There's all of this stuff going on. And why would you want to leave here and go there? So if you know better, you literally got to do better. And if you're not doing better, I would love to know why.
Why? Where's the disconnect? What are you struggling with? It's, you need to be delivered.
Why do you not want to be delivered? I talk about it all the time. I talk about the liver and every opportunity I get. I talk about the Holy Spirit.
Every opportunity I get, I'm offering to help these people at my church in particular, every opportunity that I get. But I can't force you. There's no way. I can't make you get delivered, but I can talk to you about it.
So it literally, it grieves my spirit. Just like when John and Jesus met in the belly and John left at Jesus. I'm not leaping. I'm just like, they keep doing this.
Why? So then you should like your Holy Spirit sit on me, but also sit on them to restrain them and stop them from doing what they know better than to do. And do you see her heart? We're here about souls.
We're here to see you saved or here to see you rededicate. You're like, or we want to see you go, wow, there's something about that Holy Spirit. I want what those ladies have. And let me tell you, you cannot go wrong by listening to the Holy Spirit.
Yes, there's a sacrifice. Yes, there's a crucifying of flesh. We both have testimonies that will not, you've just heard a snippet of what she has come from. I snip it.
You all, if you've watched in the past episode, you heard mine in the last week, it might be this week, last week's episode about my testimony and what I went through. And so to see what we see in the world right now happening, it grieves us because we care about your soul. We want to be in heaven with you. As you were, as you answered the call on your life and you said, okay, I'm going to become ordained, I'm getting ordained as a pastor.
You're not about names. She's not about titles. She can care less. She almost hides when you recognize her.
Yes, she is. But as you can see, I'm pushing her out front. What do you feel out of the fivefold ministry as a pastor? We'll take the pastor first.
Is the three primary responsibilities of a pastor guarding your sheep. You know, I hate to refer to people as sheep because right now you have a lot of them. This mask, we have to wear masks. We're in the middle of COVID.
And then people talking about, oh, the sheep is and the sheep dad and the sheep are dying and the sheep. But I'm not sheep in that aspect, but the men and women of God, their well-being is primary. We've got to protect them because, you know, if you're in a church structure, you're in a public building. Anything or anybody can walk in.
Satan sends agents. He sends witches. He sends warlocks. He sends evil minions.
He sends those that look real churchy, but they're not. They're real dark inside. So it's up to us to have the discerning of spirit to see what's coming in to try to take the sheep because sheep are animals that follow very easily. So if you see them taking a turn to follow the wrong thing, it's up to you to take the rod with the hook and pull them back in.
Say, I came up on a farm. So the Bible, in all of its farming analogies, hey, I've got it. I understand all of it. So I love that for me.
So that's what that rod is for. Your Pokemon, they've got to get out of line. And if they get out of line, you hook them back in. And that to me is a pastor's primary responsibility.
Protecting. Got to protect the people that is in your care. That God is assigned. Right.
In our pastor, so to speak. Sure. So and we got to make sure the fence is up. We got to make sure the gates are kept.
We got to make sure that there's a supply of spiritual nourishment, water, these things that come from the Holy Spirit. We've got to make sure that that's readily available and then just having being able to be in contact with them. When I was first saved, I was church shopping. No, I'm sorry.
Screw it before I got saved. I'm sorry. I want to make sure I get right. I was church shopping because I needed to know where to go.
And I went to a couple of churches. One of them, I knew the pastor. He was some kin to my family or my son's family. And he was ushered in under body guard covering and then he was ushered out under body God covering.
And in my mind, even then I didn't know God. Keep that in mind. How does he pass through all these people? There was hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people at his church.
How does he know them? If you can't even approach him. So that right there, I left and I didn't go back. So you're saying that a pastor needs to be on hand?
Yeah, that's my belief. I agree. As a farmer, I didn't have sheep, but we had cattle. We couldn't feed the cattle if we didn't get near them.
We couldn't go make sure that they were okay if we couldn't get near them. If we were so up in our dander that we couldn't get near what we were trying to raise, what would you do? Like, so if I'm a pastor and you can't relate to me, how am I pastoring you? If I don't know your need and you can't come and I bet pastor Tammy, you know, I'm really struggling in this area.
Can you help me? But if I'm so unapproachable and sent off, I've got to be ushered in and out. What am I doing? That's good.
Like, I don't need personally, Leanne Badget. I don't grasp that concept. It would be like, you're my doctor, but you don't come in and examine me. I don't see you on a TV screen.
Right. I mean, I need you to make it make sense for me. So it's very vital that a pastor has a relationship with his sheep. And how do you do that on a massive?
Exactly. Now that I can't answer because we don't have massive sheep. It's coming. But the Lord will allow, he will guide us in that.
But that's why there's multiple churches. Well, I mean, let's face it, Jesus, disciple 12. He's disciple 12. He pastored 12.
And I believe that if you have representation of those that are called into the fivefold ministry, the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the teacher, and the pastor, that each of those work together. There's not one that's above another. They work together. And by working together, then there's a release of vision.
There's a release for the sheep. There's a words of wisdom and knowledge that is given. But it has to, so I think every ministry has to have that function. There has to be teams of people.
Absolutely. Whether you're a church of 15 to 20 or a church of 120, a church of 10,000, you've got to have teams, various teams, intercessory teams, you've got to have your deacons, you've got to have people that prayer lines. And I think you touched this then on the intercessory team, which is very, very hard to find. That should be the first position.
And I know that we're kind of ratatailing here, but it kind of seems like the Holy Spirit is just really moving in this direction. Because I believe that there are those out there that are searching. They are searching for a place to call home. But they have this hypocritical notion of, if I go to church, they're all a bunch of hypocrites, how many times have we heard that?
So you may be asking yourself how to discern my home. Well the first thing I would say, will the pastor look for the 99? Will the pastor go for the one? Will they go get the one out of the 99?
Because Jesus says, I will leave the 99 for the one. Will they go for the one? Will they go out to that pastor? Grab them, break their leg, put them on there, and carry them back and mend them and heal them.
And that's where home should be. Home should be a place that your brokenness, my brokenness, she was broken. And I know I was blessed to have two pretty tough pastors in my life that not only helped me with my brokenness, but they didn't let me park there. They didn't let me stay in my brokenness.
They pushed me to my greater. You don't want somebody who's going to sugarcoat, who's going to say, it's going to all be okay. No, when you're in your broken, it ain't all going to be okay. I want somebody to guide me to tell me.
And that's pushing you to have a relationship. Not about religion, not about going in clock and in. Not about going, oh I went to church Sunday, I went to Bible study Wednesday. It's about being able to connect that what I see in her, you see, when I met her, I saw a warrior, I saw somebody who will fight on the front line, not the back lines, not the back pew that's almost out the door.
I saw somebody that was going to stand beside me and say, come on, we're going to fight this battle together. And I got my sort of, let me show you how to pick your sort of. This is how I saw Pastor Leanne and that's been three, maybe four years ago, three, four years ago. And when I met her, I knew that this is somebody I wanted to get to know.
This was somebody that I knew that could teach me how to war when it gets rough. And Saints of God, I want to encourage you right now that we are in the battle of good and evil. We are in a time and season. It's not about playing church.
No. Jesus is coming back very, very soon. And you've got to know how to war. You've got to know how to battle.
You've got to know how to take this word, believe it, declare it, decree it, and know that when you declare it, it is done, even though you may not see it, it may take time. But if you're being tossed to and fro and you're going to every single prophet to get a word, you better get your word from right here. Now I do walk in that office. But when somebody calls my phone and I'll say, have you prayed about it, have you talked to the Lord about it.
And then let's talk. And pastor Lee in the same way. Well, let's pray about it first. There's been many times I've called her up on the phone and I've literally vomited and vented and she'd go, okay, now let's go to here.
Let's pray about this, Tammy. Let's do this, Tammy. Have you not? And I hope that she's been able to do the same.
You've got to have that person that is a warrior that's going to walk the word. You're asking, you may be asking yourself right now in your inner circle. You don't even have an inner circle. You get some prayer warriors.
You get one or two prayer warriors. That's where you want to go. You surround yourself with it. You want to go.
You want to go. You want to go. You want to go. You want to go.
You want to go. You surround yourself with it. You may not be there yet, but you want to strive in seeking out somebody that's already doing it. Like, for instance, with this TV program really, really, really quick.
I searched out those that have been doing this for years and I gleaned from them. I watched their shows. Gleeing from those that have already done it. They've done the hard work.
They've done that. They've faced the oppositions. You heard me ask pastor Lee and some tough questions. You know, what is your greatest strength?
What is your weakness? Okay. On your weakness? How do you work on your weakness?
In one minute. What do you do? I do not want to give it to the Holy Spirit because He is your strength in your weakness. That's what the word of God says.
If I can't give Him my weakness, He can't become my strength. When I realize that being a fixer isn't the right thing, even though in my natural mind it seemed like the thing to do, you've got a problem. Let me fix it. We can do this.
Now I can be like, okay, you know what God, I can't fix them. But I'm going to give them to you by their permission because I can drag you. I can drag you kicking and screaming through the cross. You're kicking like a dream.
But I can't make you get saved once you get there. You have got to be willing and able to give those things over to the Lord for yourself. Just like I told somebody the other day, I can't crucify your flesh and you can't crucify mine. I can tell you how you're doing this thing wrong and you need to deal with it or you can vice versa.
Hey, I'll send you to do it. You need to get rid of that. I got to crucify it and you got to crucify yours. The key to all of it is getting to the cross.
If you can get yourself to the cross no matter how broken, beaten, battered or bloody you are, if you can get yourself to the cross, that's where your healing is. That's where you will be fixed and put back together and made whole in Jesus. At the cross. It happens at the cross things.
Scripture says that we are to crucify our flesh daily, pick up our cross and follow Him. That's right. You don't know Jesus today. You don't know the Holy Spirit.
You don't know the Father. They are even though they're one. They are three distinct personalities and functions. They each have their assignment.
If you don't know today, please take this time and ask the Lord into your heart. As we are closing out today, I'm going to have Pastor Liam Badget pray for you. I want to thank you for joining us on today's inspiration. If you have questions at the end of this, there's eagolinespect.org.
We're on Facebook. You can find Pastor Jamal and Liam Badget on Facebook. Send us your questions. We would love to answer.
We would love to pray for you. We want to see you be the best that God has for you. You heard real and raw conversation. It was just a conversation that I hope that you were able to glean something from.
So as we close out to pray for you today, I'm going to have her pray what's on her heart for you. If it was a witness, reach out to us. All the information is at the end. We want to hear from you.
It is our desire to hear from you because we know you need your miracle. Pray us out of here. Father God Lord, we just come to you now. Father God Lord, and we ask Father God Lord that you would take the break and be the people that are watching this show.
Father God, we're going to mend them back together. Father God Lord, that they would see you Lord God in their seeking God. And then more than anything God, they would encounter the Holy Spirit. Father God Lord, there is a great need for the God Lord for the Holy Spirit to unveil it and engulf it.
Not that there's a shortage on your part, Father God Lord, but there's a lack of desire on ours. God. So I pray that you would go through Father God Lord to these people, Father God Lord on their TV, on their phones, on their computer, on their whatever they've got. God and go in Father God Lord and then their broken places.
Only you can God that they would cry out upon the name of Jesus and that they would receive you Holy, totally and completely in their heart and their soul in Jesus name. Thank you Father. Father God, we just thank you for this opportunity to come into the living rooms of your people. We thank you in Jesus name.
We pray. Amen. We thank you and we appreciate you and we pray that 2021 is going to be your greatest. You're next.
I appreciate you all watching our show this evening. If there's anything, anything whatsoever that you have heard that has spoken to your heart and you feel the need to either rededicate your life or turn your life over to Jesus. I encourage you to reach out to us. We would be more than happy to speak with you either on the phone or via email or however you can reach out to us.
And it's easy. We can say a prayer for you. Jesus says to Nicodemus that you must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. So I encourage you to turn your life over.
If you need to rededicate, that is also to turn your life back to repentance is simply turning from the direction that you were going to a new direction. You're no longer the old person that you are. You but you become a new person through the gift of salvation. So I encourage you to reach out to us at EagleWeansFaith.org.
You can click on the tab, contact us and you can put it through the website or you can email us straight ewfmchurch at gmail.com. And we look forward to hearing from you. God bless you and we will see you later.
