Todd Stottlemyer is CEO of CNSI, a private equity backed (Carlyle) healthcare software products and solutions company. He also serves as a member of the company’s board of directors.Prior to joining CNSI, Stottlemyer served in multiple executive leadership roles as an executive vice president at Inova Health System, a 20,000-employee healthcare organization serving the Washington, DC region. In his most recent role, he served as CEO of the Inova Center for Personalized Health, where he was responsible for the Inova Schar Cancer Institute, the Inova Translational Medicine Institute, which he helped create, Inova’s clinical research programs, the Inova Strategic Investment Initiative (venture fund), and the Inova Personalized Health Accelerator. Prior to that, he also oversaw Inova’s information technology and the transition to electronic health records, innovation, biomedical engineering, international business, and other corporate functions.Prior to Inova, Stottlemyer was CEO at Acentia, a healthcare-focused information technology company (backed by SnowPhipps and Blue Delta Capital Partners), where he also served as a member of the board of directors. During his tenure, the company grew to over 1,000 employees and more than $200 million in annual revenue. In April 2015, Maximus (NYSE: MMS) acquired Acentia, and Stottlemyer subsequently served on the board of directors for Maximus Federal Services.In addition to these roles, Stottlemyer served as CEO and as a member of the board of directors of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), leading the nation’s largest business association (over 350,000 small businesses across the U.S.).Before NFIB, Stottlemyer was the co-founder and CEO of Apogen Technologies, an information technology company (backed by Arlington Capital Partners). He and his team built the company from concept to over $200 million in annual revenue and more than 1,000 employees before selling it to QinetiQ Group PLC (LON: QQ).During his tenure, Apogen was named as one of the top 50 best places to work in the Washington, D.C. region and as one of the top 20 best places to work in the New Orleans, LA area.Stottlemyer has also served as president of McGuireWoods Consulting, as chief financial and administrative officer of BTG Inc. ($300 million annual revenue publicly traded company acquired by Titan, now L-3), and as a corporate vice president and member of the executive team of BDM International (more than 9,000 employees and over $1 billion in annual revenue; backed by the Carlyle Group, taken public and acquired by TRW, and now part of Northrop Grumman).Stottlemyer has served on or serves on the boards of 12 technology companies and two publicly traded commercial banks. He has been a Venture Fellow at Blue Delta Capital since 2015, having started with the firm as a member of the Advisory Board in 2009, and is an operating advisor to Blue Heron Capital.He is a former chair of the board of directors of both the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce.Additionally, Stottlemyer previously served as rector (chair of the Board of Visitors) for his alma mater, The College of William & Mary, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Phi Beta Kappa), and as a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Mary Washington.
