This week on the last but not very least Boxing Day episode of Tomboy Tirade for the year, Persis has been furloughed from her year-end gig at the North Pole. Santa is just not feeling it this year, according to sources. As Sharon and Persis wait for the shutdown to pass, they chat with Tom and Thinker, the showrunners of Haddock News, one of the world’s favourite satirical news, parody, spoof news site with funny stories and political satire. First order of matters is Haddock News’ attempt at lobbying interest for a new movement they call Vaginuary, an ode to a woman’s genitals in the month of January to bring about awareness for female-related illnesses and bad behaviours, now that Movember has finally been shaved, shorn and snipped with. Then it’s time to take an actual crack at Toronto’s most controversial mayor, Rob Ford, in our second topic, Ford Nation as we tackle the question ‘Can your city’s political representative perform better as he gets higher and higher up the power rung?’ And finally, we lay the ultimate question thick and heavy over Haddock by asking them who would’ve made the better porn director this year?
