Tony Riddle - Episode 18

from weMove Podcast · host weMove

What can nature teach us about movement, training and our health? Pretty much everything we need, yet we live in a man made environment surrounded by barriers which keep us at a distance from the environment which makes us truly thrive. This weeks episode we spend talking to Tony Riddle aka The Natural Lifestylist. Tony has transcended his former years as a personal trainer, pilates instructor, barefoot running advocate and is now bringing a connected approach to training, health and longevity by bringing his clients closer to their biological norms, harmonising the modern lifestyle with a more natural approach to living and moving. Tony and his family are based in London and share many similarities with other proponents of the natural movement culture which is growing around the world such as Erwan Le Corre, Lee Saxby, and many others. We cover a fair bit of ground in this episode from health, child development, plant medicine, posture, pilates and running form to his new project advising property developers on how to integrate nature with working environments to create a more harmonious balance of the urban world and nature. There are some real gems throughout which is best started with the question to you “how many hours have you spent outside today?”.
