Too Inwardly Focused: What It Means To Be On Mission

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in Matthew 9 today. As Christians, where should our focus in the church be? A lot of believers are selfishly focused on what's going on within the four walls of the church, and are either turning a blind eye to or judging the world. Why are we attacking the lost for being lost? Why are we surprised, angry, or upset when a sinner sins? They are in more need of Jesus than we are. We all won't be out in the mission fields, but we can still support those missions in other capacities. Whether it be by giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, giving to a different local mission, or even just being compassionate and understanding to those all around us, we all have a part to play, and we can do better.“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20You can reach us at facebook.com/hbchillsboro.
