Nei mesi scorsi, presso l'Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti del capoluogo piemontese, si è svolto un seminario tenuto da Viola Barovero e da Silvio Maffioletti, al quale hanno partecipato gli studenti dell'Accademia stessa e del corso di laurea in Ottica e Optometria della locale Università degli StudiDurante l’incontro si è discusso di visione tridimensionale e del ruolo della disparità retinica nella ricostruzione di immagini dotate di profondità e rilievo stereoscopico. «Il seminario (nella foto) è stato organizzato da Viola Barovero, docente dell’Accademia, e ha aperto la terza edizione de "Gli occhi e la visione", articolato progetto coordinato da Alessandra Girardi di Vanni Società Benefit, che ha già prodotto tre appuntamenti informativi interdisciplinari e due opere d’arte, vincitrici del relativo premio, donate rispettivamente al Dipartimento di Fisica e al Sermig di Torino - spiega in una nota Silvio Maffioletti, docente al corso di laurea in Ottica e Optometria dell’ateneo piemontese - Come quelli precedenti, il seminario è stato molto partecipato e ha evidenziato la prossimità scientifico-culturale tra chi studia la visione e le immagini nella loro dimensione fisica e chi invece analizza le immagini e le tecniche pittoriche nella loro dimensione percettiva e rappresentativa».Nella primavera 2026 è in programma la terza edizione del concorso artistico: i promotori dell’iniziativa stanno definendo modalità e destinatari dell’opera vincitrice.Angelo Magri
