Tormenting Tarmac Episode 24: The Lucid Air review!

from Tormenting Tarmac · host Jorge Aquino

Jorge drove one of the best and fastest electric cars on the market! What a moment for this podcast! This week on TT, we discuss in detail the experience of driving the Lucid Air Grand Touring. It's a 4 door electric sedan which is built here in Central Arizona, just south of Phoenix. The particulars model I drove is the Grand Touring. You can configure it here and it gives you more details about the vehicle: https://lucidmotors.com/air/configure.  Please watch the launch event here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkfGMgYHi28 I am joined by Cody Nagowski (CJN Photography) and we share our experience as he also driven an Air as well as Tesla Model S Plaid and we have the opportunity to do a bit of a comparison. I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed driving the Air. There were a couple of quirks that I was not a fan of but the overall package is hard to ignore must be commended as one of the best cars on sale today. Mr. Peter Rawlinson and the team at Lucid have created one hell of a driving machine designed to allow the driver in all of us to enjoy and appreciate motoring. A big thank you to Garrett Cavner and the Lucid sales team in Scottsdale for the opportunity. We finish the episode discussing our drive in the Dodge Viper ACR and discuss whether or not you as an enthusiast can enjoy electric cars and petrol engine cars. I hope you all enjoy this episode, it was a big moment for this and I hope we can bring more content like this again in the future. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and remember, Enthusiasts never die.
