Tormeting Tarmac Episode 164: We are all just walking each other home featuring J Ryan

from Tormenting Tarmac · host Jorge Aquino

Hi everyone and welcome back to TT. This week, I am honored to welcome J Ryan of the Late Night Playset and founder of the Good Vibes breakfast club in Los Angeles.J is best known for the two things above as well as going adventures in his yellow 997 911. Based on the name of his show, it is clear that he is also a fan of older late night TV. We chat about working for Conan O'Brien back in his youth, why David Letterman is such a big inspiration, driving in Deloreans with Kobe Bryant and so much more.Additionally, what I really loved about this episode is that it's very different from anything we have done in the past. This was a very vulnerable conversation and J and I really opened up about life, things from when we were growing up and of course, we have to talk about his lovely late wife, Nicole.I hope this episode can serve as a reminder that life is fragile, short, yet beautiful. And remember to always try and live it to the fullest, like Nicole did. And that people will be there along the way to help you, encourage you and you are not alone in this life. I am incredibly grateful to J for sharing everything he shared with me, and I can honestly call him a friend after this and a man I very much admire. Cheers to you J, and cheers to Nicole.Follow J on social media @porschelife111 where you can find him on another massive road trip as we speak. Those who we love that pass on are always with us. They live through us, so let's make them proud.
