His guest is Will Torres of Torres Property, based in Coorparoo, and one of Brisbane’s Top 5 Sales People of the Year. We’ve been working with Will at least two years, and we’ve seen him go from working for a big brand – Place Estate Agents, to going out on his own and growing his agency from scratch to a team of around 16 people in just 15 months. So, we obviously covered the topic of working for someone else versus going out on your own as a business owner, which is something most of us can probably relate to. We also spoke quite a bit about building a team of high performing, highly competitive people, but balancing that with the need to have everyone get along and work well together. Maybe the biggest takeaway from this chat though, will come from the conversation we had about pricing, and in particular, dealing with requests and pressure to lower our prices.
