Trade deadline looms, still work to be done

There is still work to be done, but VGK acquired veteran center Nic Dowd to its lineup Thursday.  The club filled one need by getting a center that could play on the third or fourth line.  We could see Tomas Hertl moved up to the second line to enable Mitch Marner to return to his natural wing position.  VGK still could use a Bottom six scorer and they are definitely in the market for a goaltender. We will see what Kelly McCrimmon has up his sleeve as the deadline looms. VGK returns to the ice tonight for the first time in a month. They will face a tough Minnesota Wild team which is in third place in the Central.  The Wild have three Olympians which should be honored along with Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin from the Gold Medal winning team.  And we also have WTF comments.  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
